Wachuku is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Agricultural and Industrial Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (A.I.E.N.).

Chuku Wachuku is a U.S.-trained consultant economist, business analyst, management expert, and specialist on entrepreneurship development, microcredit delivery, and small and medium enterprises. Wachuku is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Agricultural and Industrial Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (A.I.E.N.).

Prior to that, Wachuku was the national president of the Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI) as well as Chairman of the research and planning committee of the Nigeria-China Business Council. By presidential appointment, he served on the board of Nigeria’s Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC).

In July 2013, President Goodluck Jonathan appointed Wachuku to serve on the governing board of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) as well as the governing board of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).

Previously, Wachuku served as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria’s National Directorate of Employment (NDE).He was also appointed by the Government of Abia State of Nigeria as: Pro-Chancellor & Chairman-Governing Council, Abia State University Chairman of Governing Council, Abia State Polytechnic Chairman, Steering Committee, University of Industry Science & Technology. He was also a Presidential appointee to the 2014 National Conference and is a recipient of the National Productivity Merit Award as well as National Award for Excellence of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
