International Energy Insurance declares N611m loss in FY 2020

International Energy Insurance Plc on Tuesday declared a loss after tax of N611 million for the year ended 31 December 2020. This represents 321.87% decline when compared to the profit after tax of N275.389 million declared in FY 2019.

The underwriting firm reported a turnover of N564.56 million for the 12 months period, up by 7.34% from N525.95 million reported in FY 2019.

The earnings per share of International Energy Insurance for the period under review stands at -48 kobo.

At the share price of 38 kobo, the P/E ratio of International Energy Insurance stands at -0.80x with earnings yield of -125.22%.
