Access Holdings Plc partners NIBUCAA to promote public health

Access Holdings Plc, in collaboration with the Nigerian Business Coalition Against AIDS, has provided free HIV testing to over 2,000 participants at the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon 2025. This initiative aims to promote public health and curb the spread of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria.

In addition to testing, the program educated more than 3,000 individuals on HIV prevention and distributed over 2,000 informational materials and condoms to participants.

Speaking on the initiative, Esther Graham, a member of Access Holdings’ Sustainability Team, emphasized the importance of private-sector involvement in addressing Nigeria’s HIV crisis.

“It has never been more crucial to foster programs and partnerships like this, and Access Holdings is proud to be part of this initiative,” she stated.

“With Nigeria having one of the highest HIV/AIDS burdens in Sub-Saharan Africa, we must take decisive action to create awareness and provide access to free HIV testing services.”
