Lafarge Africa Plc declares N1.20 dividend to shareholders as profit rises by 95.82%

Lafarge Africa Plc (WAPCO) has declared a final dividend of N1.20 to its shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2024.

The Cement Manufacturer reported revenue of N696.758 billion for the 12 months period, up by 71.38% from N405.503 billion reported the previous year.

Profit after tax grew year on year by 95.82% N100.145 billion in FY 2024 from N51.141 billion reported in FY 2023.

Earnings per share of the Group stands at N6.22.

At the share price of N72.50, the P/E ratio of Lafarge Africa stands at 11.66x with earnings yield of 8.58%.

The qualification date for the proposed dividend of N1.20 is on Friday, 28th March 2025.

The Register of Members will be closed from Monday, 31st March 2025 to Friday, 4 th April 2025 (both dates inclusive).

On the 25th day of April 2025, dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at Friday, 28th March 2025, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
