Africa Prudential Plc reports N4.17bn Gross Earnings in FY 2022, proposes 50 kobo as final dividend

Africa Prudential Plc has published its Audited Financial Statement for the year ended 31 December 2022. The result shows improvement in the company’s topline and bottom line figures, year and year.

Gross Earnings of N4.133 billion for the 12 months period, up by 17.37% from N3.521 billion reported the previous year.

Profit after tax grew year on year by 5.55% to N1.49 billion from N1.41 billion reported the previous year.

Earnings per share of the company increased by 5.55% to 75 kobo from the EPS of 71 kobo reported the previous year.

At the share price of N6.35, the P/E ratio of AFRIPRUD stands at 8.50x with earnings yield of 11.76%.

The Board of Directors of the Company has proposed a total of N1 billion to be shared among shareholders. With the Shares Outstanding of 2 billion, the dividend payout for 2022 year end is 50 kobo.
