Cadbury Nigeria reports N3.45bn as profit in Q1 2023

Cadbury Nigeria Plc over the weekend published its First Quarter report for the period ended 31 March 2023. The report significant growth in the company’s top line and bottom line figures, year on year.

A turnover of N16.563 billion was reported for the 3 months period, up by 29.51% from N12.789 billion reported the previous year.

Profit after tax grew year on year by 124% to N3.453 billion from N1.542 billion reported in Q1 2022.

Earnings per share of Cadbury for the period under review stands at N1.84, up by 124% from the EPS of N0.82 reported the previous year.

At the share price of N10.2, the P/E ratio of Cadbury Nigeria stands at 5.55x with earnings yield of 18.03%.
