Dangote Cement declares N20 dividend to shareholders in 2022 year end

Dangote Cement Plc has declared a final dividend of N20 to its shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2022.

The Cement manufacturing giant declared a turnover of N1.618 trillion for the 12 months period, up by 16.96% from N1.384 trillion reported the previous year.

Profit after tax of N382.31 billion was reported for the period under review, up by 4.90% from N364.44 billion reported the previous year.

Earnings per share of Dangote Cement stands at N22.27.

At the share price of N272, the P/E ratio of Dangote Cement stands at 12.21x with earnings yield of 8.19%.

The qualification date for the proposed dividend of N20 is March 30, 2023.

The Register of Shareholders will be closed on March 31, 2023.

Payment date is on the 13th April, 2023
