Dangote Sugar proposes N1.50 dividend to shareholders, posts N54.7bn profit in FY’22

Dangote Sugar Refineries Plc in its published Full Year report for the period ended 31 December 2022 has proposed a final dividend of N1.50 to its shareholders. This is subject to approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

The Group reported a turnover of N403.25 billion, up by 46.07% from N276.05 billion reported in 2021.

Profit after tax for the period under review stands at N54.74 billion, up by about 148% from N22.05 billion reported in 2021.

Earnings per share (EPS) increased to N4.51 from 2021 EPS of N1.82 which translates to 148.24% growth year on year.

At the share price of N19.35, the P.E ratio of Dangote Sugar stands at 4.29x with earnings yield of 23.29%.
