Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc has announced a substantial loss after tax of N184.36 billion for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2024.
While the company’s revenue grew by 56.41% to N484.427 billion, a significant increase in finance costs (up 1561.8%) to N300.175 billion eroded profitability.
As a result, the company’s earnings per share stood at a negative N15.18. This translates to a negative P/E ratio of 2.03x and a negative earnings yield of 49.28%.
