Ecobank Garners 503.6bn Gross Earnings in six months

The second quarter financial report of Ecobank Transnational Incorporation for the period ended June 30th 2022 reveals that the gross earnings grew by 14.59% closing at N503.6 billion from the previous close of N439.5 billion in 2021.

The bank’s profit After Tax improved by 23.60% to settle at a loss of N77.3 billion from the previous PAT of N62.6 billion.

For the period under review, the EPS of the ekobank appreciated by about 24% from N3.41 previously reported in the preceding period to N4.21 in the current period

At a stock price of N10.60, the company’s price to earnings ratio settles at

2.52x with about 40 % earnings yield.
