FG allocates N854.8bn for pensions in 2023

President Muhammadu Buhari while presenting the 2023 budget to the National Assembly has said that the Federal Government plans to spend N854.8bn on pensions, gratuities and retirees’ benefits in the 2023.

He disclosed that the total non-debt recurrent expenditure in January to July 2002 was N3.24 trillion, of which N2.87 trillion was for salaries, pensions and overheads.
