MTN Nigeria Declares ₦5 Interim Dividend as Profit Hits ₦750 Billion in Q3 2025

MTN Nigeria Communications Plc has announced an interim dividend of ₦5 per share to its shareholders following the release of its third-quarter financial results for the period ended September 30, 2025.

The telecoms giant recorded an impressive 57.41% year-on-year growth in revenue, rising to ₦3.731 trillion from ₦2.370 trillion reported in the same period of 2024.

Profit after tax surged to ₦750 billion, reflecting a remarkable turnaround from a ₦515 billion loss posted in Q3 2024 — representing a 246% year-on-year growth.

The Company’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) climbed to ₦35.73, compared to a negative EPS of ₦24.53 in the previous year.

At a share price of ₦520.10, MTN Nigeria trades at a Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio of 14.56x, with an earnings yield of 6.87%.

The qualification date for the interim dividend is November 20, 2025, while the Register of Shareholders will be closed on November 21, 2025. Dividend payments will be made electronically on November 28, 2025, to shareholders whose names appear on the Register as at November 20, 2025, and who have completed the e-dividend registration process.
