Nigeria’s Pension Assets grew to N14.59tn in October 2022

Recent report published by the National Pension Commission (Pencom) revealed that Nigeria’s pension assets rose to N14.589 trillion in October from N14.424 trillion as of the end of September. This represents a growth of N164.4 billion in October

The figure showed that N9.23 trillion of the funds was invested in Federal Government’s securities, N1.53 trillion in corporate debt securities, N2.17 trillion in money market instruments, N828 billion in domestic ordinary shares, N100.29 billion in foreign ordinary shares and N65.68 billion in mutual funds.
