It was a bearish session on the floor of the Nigerian stock market on Wednesday as investors’ wealth dropped by N693 billion.
The All Share Index was down by 0.70% to close at 154,260.98 points from the previous close of 155,353.20 points.
The Market Capitalisation declined by 0.70% to close at N97.914 trillion from the previous close of N98.607 trillion.

An aggregate of 452.9 million units of shares were traded in 27,654 deals, valued at N14.8 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative as 20 equities emerged as gainers against 46 that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers

DEAPCAP led other gainers with 9.70% growth to close at N1.81 from the previous close of N1.65.
ASOSAVINGS, MCNICHOLS and CAVERTON among other gainers also grew their share prices by 0.79%, 8.87% and 6.67% respectively.
Percentage Losers

BETAGLASS and JOHNHOLT Plc led other price decliners as they shed 10.00% of their share prices to close at N437.40 and N5.40 respectively.
ETRANZACT, Champion Breweries and Ikeja Hotel among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.67%, 8.81% and 8.68% respectively.
Volume Drivers

TANTALIZER traded about 57 million units of its shares in 96 deals, valued at N131 million.
Sovereign Trust Insurance traded about 46 million units of its shares in 482 deals, valued at N218 million.
ACCESSCORP traded about 39 million units of its shares in 1,273 deals, valued at N896 million.
