TRANSCORP HOTEL proposes 13 kobo dividend to shareholders

 The Board of Directors of TRANSCORP HOTEL Plc in its financial report for the year ended 31 December 2022 proposed a final dividend of 13 kobo to its shareholders from the retained earnings account as at 31 December, 2022.

The Hotel reported a turnover of N31.4 billion. Cost of sales for the 12 months period was N9 billion, bringing their Gross Profit to N22.3 billion.

The Profit before Tax of N4.5 billion for the period under review, from which N1.9 billion was deducted as income taxation, bringing Profit after tax to N2.6 billion from N1.1 billion reported previously in the same period 2021

With about 10 billion shares outstanding, the earnings per share of TRANSCORP HOTEL stands at N0.26 away from N0.11 reported in the previous year.

At the referenced share price of N6.50, the P.E ratio of company stands at 25.43x with earnings yield of 3.93%.
