Unilever rakes in N2.67bn profit in 3 months

Unilever Nigeria Plc on Monday published its First Quarter report for the period ended 31 March 2023.


The Company reported a turnover of N24.61 billion for the 3 months period, up by 19.69% from N20.56 billion reported in the first quarter of 2022.


Profit after tax grew year by 48.65% to N2.67 billion from N1.796 billion reported the previous year.


Earnings per share of the Company for the period under review stands at 46 kobo, up by 48.65% from the EPS of 31 kobo achieved in Q1 2022.


At the share price of N12.65, the P/E ratio of Unilever Nigeria stands at 27.22x with earnings yield of 3.67%.
