FG earmarks N1.42tn for infrastructure projects in 2022 budget

The Federal Government has disclosed that it plans to spend a total of N1.42 trillion on infrastructure projects in 2022.

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, who disclosed this on Tuesday in Abuja.

The minister said that between 2019 and 2021, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), approved 33 road projects for construction under the Road Infrastructure Development.

According to her, key capital projects were being financed by bilateral and multilateral loans.
