Stanbic IBTC grows PAT by 36.05%, declares N1.50 interim dividend in HY 2022

The shareholders of Stanbic IBTC Holdings will soon smile to the bank as interim dividend of N1.50 as been proposed by the Holding Company.

The Audited Financial Statement of the financial institution for the period ended 30, June 2022 shows significant growth in the Company’s top line and bottom line figures, year on year.

Gross Earnings of N133.704 billion was reported for the 6 months period, up by 43.93% from N92.895 billion reported the previous year.

Profit after tax grew year on year by 36.05% to N30.669 billion from N22.543 billion reported in HY 2021.

Earnings per share of Stanbic IBTC for the period under review stands at N2.37 from the EPS of N1.74 achieved the previous year.

At the share price of N28, the P/E Ratio of Stanbic IBTC stands at 11.83x with earnings yield of 8.45%.

Qualification date for the proposed dividend is September 6, 2022.

The Register of Shareholders will be closed from Wednesday 07 September 2022 to Wednesday 14 September 2022.

On Wednesday 21 September 2022, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at close of Trading on Tuesday 06 September 2022, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
