University Press reports N2.3bn as turnover, PAT rises by 263%

University Press Plc on Wednesday published its audited reports for the year ended 31 March 2022.

The firm reported a turnover of N2.306 billion for the 12 months period, up by 62.44% from N1.419 billion reported the previous year. This is driven by growth in sales of printed books in Western, Eastern and Northern zone of the country.

Profit after tax grew significantly by 263.34% to N207.492 million from N57.107 million reported the previous year.

Earnings per share (EPS) of the Company increased to 48 kobo from the EPS of 13 kobo.

At the share price of N2.35, the P/E ratio of University Press stands at 4.90x with earnings yield of 20.43%.
